Decision Analysis Paper, Part 1
The Final Project is designed to help you synthesize the insights you gained and information you have explored about decision making and apply this synthesis to a decision problem that matters to you. During Weeks 8 and 9, you will be writing portions of a Decision Analysis Paper, which will be graded and returned with feedback. You will apply this feedback before submitting your Final Project at the end of Week 10.
Final Project Overview: The Final Project for this course involves a decision problem that matters to you. This problem must be identified, defined, articulated, and solved. You will submit an 8- to 10-page Decision Analysis Paper by Day 7 of Week 10.
For this week’s Assignment, write a 2- to 4-page paper that identifies an important decision you need to make. It can be a decision associated with your doctoral program, your dissertation research, your work, your family, your community, or any other area of your life. Include in your paper the following:
A description of the decision you need to make
A description of the stakeholders involved
A description of the decision environment
An explanation of whether this is an individual or group decision
